QTBIPOC
I'm Rai Khamisa (they/them), a queer and gender-affirming therapist that strives to serve the communities I inhabit. I’ve built my career on working with college and graduate students of color, millennial professionals, queer and trans individuals, and universities and businesses that want to make space for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) growth opportunities.
Rada is Swahili slang meaning to understand. I believe the root of all my work, whether it's therapy or consultation, starts from a place of understanding ourselves, the systems we work in, and the cultures we hold.
WHO I AM
LET'S GROW TOGETHER.
LET'S THRIVE TOGETHER.
THERAPY
Real healing happens when we look into our identities, our backgrounds, and begin to evaluate the pieces that make us who we are and the systems we function in - individually and with partners.

HEALING SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL.
We must recognize and engage through the lens of our many intersecting identities, whether a student or faculty member, working professional, queer, trans, or in the BIPOC sphere - it has impacts on our mental health and with the right tools we can thrive. I want to remain focused on our community's healing.
